Unlock your modem to use more than one Sincard

The Easiest Way to Unlock your Modem

* Copy this link: http://bb5.at/huawei.php?imei=351596037539337
* Save it in your Notepad or Word or just write it down
* Check at the bottom side of your modem, or (for Zain modem) below where you put the Sim Card. Look for IMEI number. You'll find two numbers S/N and IMEI. Just copy the IMEI number.
* Now, go to the link you wrote down and replace the long number with your IMEI number for : http://bb5.at/huawei.php?imei=yourIMEInumber [Don't forget the '=' sign]
* Now copy the new link with your IMEI number and enter it in your browser. A page will open with IMEI, Unlock Code, Flash. Ignore the rest and copy the Unlock Code.
* Now insert a foreign SIM card to your modem (any other SIM card for the modem to unlock e.g if Saf modem, enter a Yu line).

* When you put it into your computer, a dialog box appears asking: Enter Unlock Code. Now enter the Unlock Code you copied, and voila! You have unlocked your modem.

Here are profile settings for Network providers in Kenya.
Open the modem program e.g. Safaricom Broadband, Mobile Partner, Zain etc
Click on Tools>options.>Profile Management..... New (on the top right)
Then enter these settings:
1. Profile name: Safaricom
click 'static'
APN: Safaricom
Access number: *99#
User name: saf
Pass: data
Click 'save'
2. Profile name: Zain
click 'static'
APN: ke.celtel.com
Access number: *99#
User name: leave it blank
Pass: leave it blank
Click 'save'
3. Profile name: YU
click 'static'
APN: internet
Access number: *99#
User name: leave it blank
Pass: leave it blank
Click 'save'
4. Profile name: Orange
click 'static'
APN: bew.orange.co.ke
Access number: *99***1#
User name: leave it blank
Pass: leave it blank
Click 'save'
